I'm ready, what's my next step?
I'm ready, what's my next step? The first step is to make sure your AVImark software is at version 1.74 or higher. Next, download a Service Agreement from this web site or call PAWprint and we'll fax you one. Then, begin planning the photo you want to use and decide which layout style you want.
What format do you need for my digital photo? We can scan your printed photograph and produce the digital file we need. If you're sending a digital file of your photo or logo, we prefer the file be in EPS JPeg format and at the highest resolution possible.
Do I see a proof before the cards are printed? You must approve a proof before we can print your cards. In most cases this will be in the form of a PDF file that we will email to you. If needed, we can post the card on the PAWprint web site for viewing. We don't print until you are completely satisfied!
How long does it take before my cards are ready? Because the cards are digitally printed, they're ready as soon as you approve your proof.
We send reminder cards each week. Is this a problem? We can send reminders weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly, or at whatever interval you want. It cost the same...so you tell us what works best for your clinic!
Do we pay a setup fee? No!
Is the file we send to PAWprint secure? When you press the PAWprint button within AVImark, the program gathers your reminder information and encrypts the file. Should someone open the file it would be gibberish and look something like this: © % ö¡+’ ¹¡ 迹ÏcùüÄ! p4§ ÕÄÍa¾BëÂcܪC After we download your encrypted data file from our FTP site, we run a program supplied by McAllister Software that decrypts your data. We then format it for printing.
What if we want to cancel your service? You may cancel at any time - there is no long-term contract.
How do I send you my digital file? You have 3 option for sending your digital file to PAWprint: (1) Put it on a floppy disk and mail it, (2) Send it as an email attachment, or (3) Upload it to the PAWprint web site (click HERE).
Is there a minimum number of card to buy for digital printing? No! Unlike offset printing (printing done on the press), digital prints are printed each time we receive your data file. We don't print a quantity of cards and store them until needed. Therefore, you are under no obligation to purchase a large number of cards. If you need 50 this month...we print 50 cards. You pay for the quantity your use.
